I happened to chance upon them in the library and read the entire series. I still get the warm fuzzies when I think about them. To name a few books that snuck up on me: Flowers for Algernon (which I read when I was 11 and has stayed with me all these years); The Thornbirds (the ultimate romance), Almost Paradise (I stayed up all night to finish it and threw the book across the room at 8am I was so upset by the unexpected ending. But I've read ever Susan Isaac book since) and A Prayer for Owen Meany (John Irving, another of my favorite authors). No need to send me a book, save it for your other fans here.
