Kira Disapproves

One of my first accomplishments of the New Year was learning how to play poker. I still require a cheat sheat with a list of which hand is worth more. The plus side is, I found bluffing while pointing to a high hand on my cheat sheet to be very successful. I don’t really have any good New Year’s Eve pictures to post, because for some *strange* reason most of them came out crooked, or with a thumb in the frame, etc… I did take a startling number of pictures of my chips, so here is evidence that I was, at one point, winning.

Me! (Except not.)

Honestly, the winner of the CW Late ‘08 story contest is Shane! He’s posted some of his stories here if anyone wants to see. I couldn’t be (much) happier because he really turned in an impressive performance this last week. There was a wee bit of poor sportsmanship at the end (language!) but nothing dire. Congratulations, Shane!
